The daiquiri ( ; Spanish : daiquirí [ dajkiˈɾi ] ) is a cocktail whose independent ingredients are curious, citrus juice ( typically lime juice ), and carbohydrate or other bait. The daiquiri is one of the six basic drinks listed in David A. Embury ‘s classical The Fine Art of Mixing Drinks, which besides lists some variations.
