When Brian and I lived in Denver, the constantly dry air out played a toll on our clamber. Honestly, I thought that the humidity of the midwest would help cure my huffy hands, but unfortunately, I was wrong !
My hands are SO dry, I can barely wear my wedding ring right now because every little thing is causing irritation .
I knew I needed a solution and FAST. A couple of years ago, I made a Homemade Whipped Body Butter as a give for my kin and friends. In the midst of trying many different boughten lotions, I remember that this homemade stuff wholly did the trick when I made and used it before .
It ’ s so simple to make, looks like frost, and will make your skin extremely easy. Just what Brian and I needed for our poor dry hands .
This body butter is a combination of shea butter, coconut vegetable oil, jojoba oil, and lavender all-important oils. This homemade lavender body butter is life-changing !
Shea butter comes from the seeds of the fruit of the shea or karite tree and it is high in vitamins A and E. No wonder this material will make your skin feel amazing ! not to mention smell amaze, excessively !
Jojoba oil is much used as a carrier oil for all-important oils, and I ’ ve seen it in several products that my baby sells at her salon .
As I mentioned above, the action is very bare .
just melt the coconut vegetable oil and shea butter together, then blend in the jojoba petroleum and substantive oils. then, place it in the electric refrigerator to harden ( either in a mixer bowling ball or a bowl you can use hand beaters in ) for 1-2 hours .
Remove from the electric refrigerator and worst for about 10 minutes, or until the body butter looks like frosting ! ( It will look indeed much like frosting, but don ’ triiodothyronine feed it 😉 )
