Sophomore : After 12 years of working in the nursing field I have chosen to return to school to expand my knowledge in the health care field or change careers, not exactly sure yet. My admissions advisor, Marcena Reed, was such a great help. She was quick to respond to my questions, helped me through the admissions process, gave me great feed back, and continues to encourage me throughout my first few courses. This personal touch really make you feel connected to the school. …Once you start your courses each student is assigned academic advisor. Jesus Parra is my advisor and I would be lying if said that I thought I would never speak to him. A couple a weeks into my first course, he called me to check up and see how I was doing as well as asking me if I need anything. I was surprised and taken back. I am a “head down and don’t make eye-contact” type of student but this type of personal connection made me stop and think that maybe Rasmussen really cares about their students’ success…Read 138 Reviews
